CHARLOTTE – The Panthers will begin their offseason workout program April 17, the first day on the NFL calendar that teams with returning head coaches can kick off the nine-week program.
The NFL released offseason dates for each team Monday, the first day that teams with new head coaches could begin workouts. After five weeks of conditioning and limited field work, the Panthers will hold the first of nine Organized Team Activities – basically practices without contact – on May 23. That will jumpstart three consecutive weeks with three OTAs each, then they'll wrap up the offseason program with their mandatory veteran minicamp June 13-15.
First day: April 17
OTAs: May 23-25, May 30-31, June 1, June 5-8
Minicamp: June 13-15
