CHARLOTTE — The Panthers have made a series of roster moves in the defensive backs room, in addition to another roster move on that side of the ball.

The team signed defensive back Rudy Ford following a tryout. In a corresponding move, the team waived defensive back Clayton Isbell.

Defensive end Kemoko Turay was also released off of Injured Reserve.

Isbell had two stints with the Panthers, the first coming as an undrafted free agent following the April 2024 NFL draft, and the second in training camp.

Ford, an Auburn alum, was drafted in the sixth round by the Arizona Cardinals in 2017. He spent two seasons in Arizona, before being traded to the Philadelphia Eagles. He spent one season with the Jaguars as a free agent, then two season with the Packers.

In his 86 career games, Ford has 203 total tackles, 12 passes defended and six interceptions, the latter two of which all have come in the last three seasons.
