CHARLOTTE - The Panthers on Saturday held a special ceremony to dedicate the stadium's west entrance lobby after its longtime host and team ambassador, John Coleman.
For decades, Coleman welcomed players, staff and visitors to Bank of America Stadium with his warm smile and welcoming words. Former players and coaches always named him as one of the bonds that tied them to the Panthers organization through the years.
Coleman retired in 2020 after 24 years with the team.
On Saturday, owners Dave and Nicole Tepper officially dedicated the lobby in his name. A number of former players, including Steve Smith Sr., Muhsin Muhammad, Mike Rucker, Brad Hoover and Tre Boston, were on hand to show their love and appreciation.
