April 29 is World Wish Day, and the Carolina Panthers think the world of what the Make-A-Wish Foundation does year-round to bring a world of happiness to children bravely battling for their health.
Earlier this month, Make-A-Wish and the Cam Newton Foundation lifted the spirits of a special fan. Charlotte native Chicago Clark, who was born with a never-before identified genetic disorder, wished to one day meet her football hero. That dream came true when Cam Newton joined Chicago for breakfast on the Bank of America Stadium field to kick off a day she'll never forget.
The Make-A-Wish Foundation makes a child's dream come true every 34 minutes on average, and on this day of celebration the Panthers are proud to play a small part in the foundation's big contribution to the world.
