FINAL PRO BOWL VOTES:The NFL released the results of online fan balloting for the 2015 Pro Bowl and twelve Panthers finished in the top two in total votes at their positions. Quarterback Cam Newton finished second overall with 701,086 fan votes, just 468 shy of the leading vote-getter, Patriots quarterback Tom Brady. Additionally, eight Panthers led their respective position groups: center Ryan Kalil, guard Trai Turner, fullback Mike Tolbert, inside linebacker Luke Kuechly, outside linebacker Thomas Davis, cornerback Josh Norman, free safety Kurt Coleman and special teamer Joe Webb. Including Newton, defensive tackle Kawann Short, tight end Greg Olsen and tackle Michael Oher were the second-place vote getters. Fan voting accounts for one-third of all votes, with coaches and players making up the remaining two-thirds. The official selections will be announced Dec. 22 on the NFL Network. READ MORE
