WHEN: 8 p.m. ET, Thursday, April 25 (Round 1); 6:30 p.m. ET, Friday, April 26 (Rounds 2-3); and 12 p.m. ET, Saturday, April 27 (Rounds 4-7).
The first round will conclude on Thursday by approximately 11:15 p.m. ET. In 2012, the first round consumed exactly three hours. The second and third rounds will conclude on Friday by approximately 10:30 p.m. ET. The second and third rounds took three hours and 48 minutes in 2012. The draft will conclude by approximately 7:30 p.m. ET on Saturday with the final four rounds. Rounds 4 through 7 took seven hours and 17 minutes in 2012.
DRAFTING: Representatives of the 32 NFL clubs by telephone communication with their general managers, coaches and scouts.
ROUNDS: Seven Rounds - Round 1 on Thursday, April 25; Rounds 2 and 3 on Friday, April 26; and Rounds 4 through 7 on Saturday, April 27.
There will be 254 selections, including 32 compensatory choices that have been awarded to 16 teams that suffered a net loss of certain quality unrestricted free agents last year.
The following 32 compensatory choices will supplement the 222 regular choices in the seven rounds. Round 3: Houston - 33, Kansas City - 34, Tennessee 35. Round 4: Baltimore - 33, San Francisco - 34, Detroit - 35, Atlanta - 36. Round 5: Miami - 33, Green Bay - 34, Baltimore - 35. Round 6: Houston - 33, Tennessee - 34, Baltimore - 35, Kansas City - 36, Oakland - 37, Pittsburgh - 38. Round 7: Philadelphia - 33, Cincinnati - 34, Seattle - 35, Seattle - 36, Atlanta - 37, Atlanta - 38, Detroit - 39, San Francisco - 40, Baltimore - 41, Tennessee - 42, Atlanta - 43, Miami - 44, Cincinnati - 45, San Francisco - 46, New York Giants - 47, Indianapolis 48.
St. Louis (numbers 16 and 22) and Minnesota (numbers 23 and 25) have two selections in the first round. Seattle and Washington do not have first-round picks. All other teams have one first-round choice.
PANTHERS PICKS: Carolina has five selections in the draft: first round (14th overall), second round (44th overall), fourth round (108th overall), fifth round (148th overall) and sixth round (182nd overall).
The Panthers traded their third-round pick to San Francisco during last year's draft in order to acquire an additional fourth round selection, which was used to take defensive end Frank Alexander, and they traded their seventh rounder to Oakland in exchange for wide receiver Louis Murphy last July.
TIME LIMITS: Round 1 - 10 minutes per selection. Round 2 - Seven minutes per selection. Rounds 3 through 7 - Five minutes per selection.
TELEVISION: NFL Network and ESPN/ESPN 2 will televise the draft on all three days.
