When teams begin addressing needs in free agency, the mock drafts start to look a little different.
In this week's version we see two wide receivers projected to Carolina for the first time – Corey Davis of Western Michigan and Mike Williams of Clemson. Davis, 6-foot-3 and 209 pounds, is an explosive athlete with exciting run-after-catch ability. Williams, 6-foot-4 and 218 pounds, has the physicality to overpower defensive backs and make contested catches.
Alabama tight end O.J. Howard is also featured in this week's report. Howard performed extremely well at the NFL Combine, running a 4.51 40-yard dash at 251 pounds, and his stock continues to rise.
Per usual, Louisiana State running back Leonard Fournette is featured. The bruising ballcarrier continues to be the popular choice for Carolina should he last until pick No. 8.
Lastly, Alabama cornerback Marlon Humphrey is the only defensive player featured this week. Humphrey is a long corner who evaluators believe can excel in a zone scheme.
