CHARLOTTE — The Panthers added some needed depth to the roster for the regular season finale before leaving for Atlanta.
The team activated running back Miles Sanders from injured reserve.
He's practiced all week after recovering from the high ankle sprain suffered in Germany, which landed him on IR on Nov. 23.
He joins Raheem Blackshear and Mike Boone in the backfield for Sunday's game against the Falcons.
The team also signed veteran defensive end DeShawn Williams from the practice squad and placed outside linebacker Amaré Barno on injured reserve.
The team added outside linebackers Thomas Incoom and Kenny Dyson from the practice squad by standard elevation to add depth there.
They were down to three on the active roster, with Barno ruled out and DJ Johnson placed on the reserve/non-football injury list on Friday.
