CHARLOTTE – Linebacker Luke Kuechly won't play in the home finale against the Atlanta Falcons.
Kuechly was cleared from the concussion protocol after being in it for three games following a Week 11 injury suffered against the Saints. He's now sat out two games since being cleared.
Since Kuechly became eligible to play, head coach Ron Rivera has said he would carefully weigh the pros and cons of returning Kuechly to game action before the end of the season. Kuechly, not surprisingly, has stated his desire to play but also his respect for whatever decision is reached.
