Dane Brugler, one of the hardest working draft analysts out there, is a big fan of Carolina's 2018 draft class. He listed the Panthers' haul third among his top five favorite teams and joined the Panthers Podcast to explain why.
"It's a lot of my favorite players in this draft," Brugler said of Carolina's picks, "starting at the top with DJ Moore."
Brugler had Moore as his 14th overall player, and the Panthers were fortunate to get him at the 24th pick.
Brugler is also very high on safety Rashaan Gaulden, who the Panthers selected in the third round (85th overall). In fact, Brugler had the under-the-radar Tennessee product in his top 50.
"When I threw on Gaulden's tape, it was one of those whoa moments," Brugler said. "You look around like, 'Why isn't anyone talking about this guy?' He's really good. If you have play speed and you have toughness, you can play on my team any day. Gaulden has both. And he plays with such confidence."
