CHARLOTTE – Linebacker Luke Kuechly is the highest ranked Panther on the 2015 NFL Network Top 100, coming in at No. 14. He was ranked 15th in 2014 and 79th in 2013.
Kuechly went to his second consecutive Pro Bowl after posting 166 tackles, 12 passes defensed and three sacks in 2014. During Carolina's two postseason games, he recorded 18 tackles and an interception, which sealed the NFC Wild Card victory against the Arizona Cardinals.
Kuechly has started all 16 games in each of his three seasons and led the NFL in tackles in 2012 and 2014. He was named NFL Defensive Player of the Year in 2013.
"Luke is as good as it gets," tight end Greg Olsen said. "I don't know if anybody has had a better three years on the defensive side of the ball than he's had."
