With the 2017 season underway, the Carolina Panthers have successfully launched the new Kickoff Kid program in conjunction with both the team's Panthers Privileges program and Kids Club.
Starting this past September, one PSL Owner representative and one Kids Club member serve as the first and second half Kickoff Kids at each Panthers home game. These randomly selected children take center stage immediately after kickoff, running onto the field to retrieve the ball tee.
This new program provides an additional in-game opportunity for members of each group to enter to win an experience only the NFL can provide. So far this season, the Kickoff Kid program has granted this exhilarating experience to 14 of the teams' youngest fans from all over the Carolinas and promises to be a tradition for years to come.
In addition to their on-field experience, winners receive exclusive access to the Champions Village hospitality area for a pregame tailgate which includes food, live entertainment and appearances by the TopCats, Sir Purr and Panthers alumni players.
This once-in-a-lifetime experience has already created priceless memories for the selected families and their children. Prior to her daughter Ari retrieving the tee at the New Orleans Saints game, Nicole Piggot shared their experience, "From the time we arrived in Charlotte, everything was top notch," Nicole explained. "As we were sitting in the hospitality tent prior to the game, Ari turned to me and said, 'Mommy, is this a dream?'"
Both the Panthers Privileges and Kids Club programs are excited to grant special opportunities like these to the next generation of Carolina Panthers fans. Want similar opportunities for your little one? Sign him or her up for the Panthers Kids Club or enter to win on your game week emails if you are a season ticket owner.
