SPARTANBURG — Panthers wide receiver Keith Kirkwood left campus in an ambulance Tuesday morning, but he's back, on his own two feet.
Kirkwood has returned to Wofford College, after landing on his back and neck after a hit from a teammate in practice.
He has been diagnosed with a concussion.
Considering the fact he was taken off the field on a stretcher Tuesday morning and taken to a nearby hospital, that news is encouraging.
Kirkwood was limited to one game last year, after multiple collarbone injuries.
