CHARLOTTE - Running back Cameron Artis-Payne is active for the first time this season and is listed as the starter for Jonathan Stewart, who is among the Panthers' seven inactives because of a hamstring injury.
The Panthers contiinue to tweak their list of active defensive linemen, this week making defensive end Ryan Delaire inactive while returning defensive tackle Paul Soliai to the active list. Saftey Marcus Ball, called up from the practice squad Friday, is active. Ball replaced safety Dean Marlowe, placed on injured reserve earlier in the week with a hamstring injury, on the 53-man roster.
