CHARLOTTE -- Cornerback Captain Munnerlyn is a healthy scratch for Sunday's game against the Packers, and guard/center Tyler Larsen is inactive for the second consecutive game.
Munnerlyn, in his first season back with the Panthers after three years in Minnesota, hasn't been happy with his role at times. Cornerback LaDarius Gunter is active for the first time since Week 7.
With right guard Trai Turner (concussion protocol) previously ruled out, head coach Ron Rivera already had said that tackle/guard Amini Silatolus would start in his place. Larsen was expected to provide depth there but won't play. Rivera had said that rookie offensive tackle Taylor Moton has gotten some reps recently at guard. Moton and center Greg Van Roten are the only reserve offensive linemen active. Van Roten saw extensive time at guard in the preseason.
