Honeywell announces partnership with Panthers

CHARLOTTE - Honeywell today announced its partnership with the Panthers to help protect players, fans and staff this season. Honeywell and the Panthers are collaborating to create a safer stadium experience by offering individual personal protective equipment (PPE) packs for Panthers fans and staff, as well as deploying air quality monitoring solutions, via a custom Healthy Buildings dashboard, to give real-time information related to the health of the stadium.

The Healthy Buildings dashboard helps the facilities staff to quickly identify and correct any potential building controls issues and gain insights on air quality factors such as CO2, temperature and humidity. Honeywell also audits the facility through the dashboard to address any issues prior to people entering the stadium.

"Honeywell is a world leader in developing solutions for venues and events and we couldn't be more pleased to partner with them in our efforts to ensure the game day experience is as safe as possible for everyone at Bank of America Stadium," said Tom Glick, president of Tepper Sports and Entertainment. "Our operations team has worked around-the-clock for months to develop and implement a responsible, comprehensive plan and Honeywell has been an integral part of those preparations."

In addition to continuously monitoring the air quality within the stadium, Honeywell is providing an added layer of safety to fans entering the stadium via custom PPE kits. The disposable Honeywell Safety Packs, branded for the team, include procedure masks, hand sanitizer and cleaning wipes. The Safety Packs will be distributed to fans and staff upon entering the stadium.

Honeywell was the presenting sponsor of the video series, Road to Restart, which detailed the team's efforts to transform Bank of America Stadium to address enhanced safety measures.

"We're all excited to bring back a bit of "normal" and we're pleased to be able to do that through our partnership with the Carolina Panthers for the 2020 NFL season," said Jeff Kimbell, Honeywell senior vice president and chief commercial officer. "We get to not only to support our hometown team, but also to provide a safer environment and peace of mind for the players, patrons and staff that are eager to return to home games with cheering fans."
