DeShaun Foster is the subject of Carolina's first Flashback Friday of July, released on social media today:
Foster still ranks fourth in franchise history with 3,336 career rushing yards. After missing the 2002 season on IR, he played from 2003-07, helping Carolina to two playoff trips and five playoff wins.
He was a beast in the playoffs, totaling 401 yards in playoff runs in 2003 and 2005 with two memorable touchdown runs.
His one-yard toss play with six broken tackles helped Carolina beat Philadelphia in the 2003 NFC Championship game, while his 33-yard touchdown run in the fourth quarter of Super Bowl XXXVIII sparked a frenetic finish.
