MAYOCK'S TOP DEFENSIVE TACKLES

Sharrif Floyd
6-3, 297 pounds, Florida

In the eyes of most, Floyd has emerged as the top defensive tackle prospect available... Displayed tremendous strength and burst in 37 games played with 26 starts as a Gator... Finished career with 115 tackles, 26 tackles for loss, 4.5 sacks and three blocked field goals... Floyd earned All-America honors as a junior in 2012 and is expected to be a top-five pick.

Star Lotulelei
6-3, 311 pounds, Utah

Lotulelei is another disruptive defensive tackle that has been projected to come off the board early in the first round, but a heart condition discovered at the scouting combine briefly clouded his draft status... Has since been medically cleared and could be taken in the top 10... Started collegiate career at Snow College in 2008 before taking a year off and joining Utah in 2010... Finished three-year career at Utah with 107 tackles, 21.5 stops for loss and seven sacks, and was a first-team All-Pac-12 selection in 2011 and 2012.

Sheldon Richardson
6-3, 294 pounds, Missouri

Much like Lotulelei, Richardson started out with two years at College of the Sequoias before transferring to Missouri in 2011... Finished two-year career at Missouri with 112 tackles, 18.5 tackles for loss and six sacks... A terrific athlete with impressive penetrating ability, Richardson is slated to be drafted in the middle of round one.

Sylvester Williams
6-3, 313 pounds, North Carolina

The community college trend continues with Williams, who played two years at Coffeyville Community College before transferring to North Carolina in 2011... Finished two-year career in Chapel Hill with 96 tackles, 20.5 tackles for loss and 8.5 sacks... The powerful defensive tackle is projected to be a late first-round selection.

Kawann Short
6-3, 299 pounds, Purdue

Short had a tremendous career as a four-year starter at Purdue... Constantly wreaked havoc in opponents' backfields, finishing career with 186 tackles, 49 stops for loss, 19.5 sacks and 17 passes defensed... Short was a first-team All-Big Ten selection in 2011 and 2012 and is expected to be a late first- or early second-round pick.
