CHARLOTTE — Panthers coach Dave Canales announced that Bryce Young would start at quarterback this week against the Chiefs.

Young and the Panthers have won their last two games, including last week's victory over the Giants in Munich.

Young was 15-of-25 for 126 yards and a touchdown in that game, continuing to build on some positive work, including the previous week's win over the Saints, which included a game-winning touchdown drive.

Young has started three games in a row since Andy Dalton suffered a sprained thumb in a car wreck.
