CHARLOTTE - When it comes to a safe environment at Bank of America Stadium, the Panthers and Atrium Health have you covered.
Every game day, Atrium Health has more than 35 medical professionals (RN's, EMT's, paramedics, physicians, athletic trainers) present to provide emergency care to fans and staff. There are six care centers located throughout the stadium and two mobile carts that provide advanced-level medical care. There are also roving medical teams who respond to real-time calls and provide emergency care, stabilization and treatment to injured/sick fans and staff as needed.
Fans in need of assistance can text 704-GET-HELP (704-438-4357) with a seat and section location for immediate response.
On the field, an EMS team supports both the Panthers and visiting team's medical staff. There is an Atrium Health emergency medicine physician recognized as the Airway Management Physician on the field per NFL guidelines.
Beyond game day, Atrium Health serves as the clinical care coordination team for the Carolina Panthers. Dr. Nancy Gritter serves as the team physician, Atrium Health provides a nurse as the medical navigator for care coordination of players, coaches and staff, and there is an X-ray technician who serves the team throughout the year, including training camp.
