It's the first day of March, which means the NFL Draft is now less than two months away. So it's time for another trip across the internet to check out the latest mock drafts to see what they are saying about the Panthers.
Here's a look at projections from six media outlets:
North Dakota State quarterback Trey Lance was the most common name mentioned, as all of the mocks projected a quarterback to Carolina in some form.
NFL.com's Charley Casserly has the Panthers trading up and taking Lance fourth overall, while Ryan Wilson of CBS Sports and The Athletic staff have Carolina picking Lance at the eighth spot.
The writers at Pro Football Focus named BYU quarterback Zach Wilson as part of a trade that got Carolina to the second overall pick. And The Draft Network posted a trade to the fifth pick where the Panthers would take Ohio State's Justin Fields.
