CHARLOTTE – Tackle Michael Oher on Tuesday morning flew from Nashville to Charlotte, where the Panthers were beginning this week's mandatory minicamp.
Oher, who's been in the NFL's concussion protocol since late September, is scheduled to meet with doctors.
"As I said Friday, this is not about football," general manager Dave Gettleman reiterated Tuesday. "Our No. 1 priority is Michael's health."
Gettleman and Oher hadn't been in contact since the two met in Nashville on May 5. So regardless of Oher's football future, it's a positive sign that lines of communication are again open.
